THERAPEUTIC CARING AND COMPASSION

“Spirituality is seeded, germinates, sprouts and blossoms in the mundane. It is to be found and nurtured in the smallest of daily activities.”

—–Thomas Moore, Care of the Soul Twenty-fifth Anniversary Edition: Guide for Cultivating Depth and Sacredness in Everyday Life

What is Psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy is the process of building relationship to create healthy changes.  Therapeutic sessions are a journey. With the therapist as a guide-companion, the traveler makes discoveries, faces hardships, and learns the skills necessary to continue. Along the way, we ask and attempt to answer the questions: Who are you?    What do you really want?

Welcome To My Practice

I work with my clients to understand their worldview, how they see the issues that brought them to therapy, and ways that they can confidently address those concerns. I offer a safe, caring environment, a space for each client to express their fears and frustrations, to celebrate their victories, great and small, and to take the time to care for and be kind to themselves. Self-care and, especially, self-compassion, are keys to being able to live life fully, peacefully.

I offer years of professional therapeutic experience, as well as the experiences of a full and rich lifetime. And I have an open mind, a caring and compassionate heart, and a non-judgemental attitude.  Each session is an opportunity for the client to feel safe to explore who they are, what they want, and the means to accomplish their goals.

I enjoy working with clients from many populations, both traditional and non-traditional: Adults, Adolescents, Families, & Couples. Yo hablo español y conocer la cultura mexicana.
